REGION ONE ELECTRONIC LISTS

Region One has multiple electronic lists to provide news and information to Regional members.

For Region One Officers, Non-comm Officers, Enlisted crewmembers, any member of Region One, and also any member of SFI, the general chat and news list is the R1-Briefing Room. R1_Briefing_Room@yahoogroups.com

For Regional Staff Members, COs, XOs, and/or chapter representatives only, there is R1-Staff (r1-RCAB@weyr.org).

There also is an unofficial general chat list sponsored by Jay Leafey, formerly of Region One, the R1-Chat (r1-chat@weyr.org)

The R1-RCAB and R1-Chat lists can be subscribed to at http://mail.weyr.org. You will also be able to manage your subscriptions at this site.

REGION ONE IN CYBERSPACE

There are a number of channels available for IRC chatting via Fleetchat.org. Many chapters have their own channel and often hold online meetings via IRC. Some channels are available to everyone, such as the #r1-comm channel, the #r1-ncsc channel and the #starfleet channel. You can download an IRC client by going to www.mirc.com and downloading the latest versions.
